Kasia Mejer

Dentist

Kasia qualified at the Medical University in Lodz (Poland) in 1998. In 2006, after working for several years in private practice in Warsaw, she has moved to UK.

Before joining the practice, she had been working for practices in Christchurch and Southbourne.

Kasia has attended several postgraduate courses as she is very keen on improving her knowledge and providing up to date care to her patients. She enjoys every aspect of dentistry and has a special interest in cosmetic treatments, therefore in 2010, she completed an extended course on Advanced Cosmetic Restorative Dentistry. Kasia is also a member of British Orthodontic Society.

Kasia’s gentle approach and empathy enables her to treat all patients with the greatest of care in a relaxed atmosphere. She believes that every patient needs to have treatment tailored to their expectations and needs.

Outside of work, Kasia enjoys spending time with her family. She loves travelling and exploring different cultures, cycling and walking her dogs.

Victoria Gill

Dentist

Victoria qualified from Cardiff University in 2009 and initially worked in Devon to complete her foundation training, and a year in a hospital surgical position. She then lived in Adelaide, Australia for two years; broadening her skills in all aspects of general dentistry across several practices.

She moved to Poole from London in 2017 and since the she has enjoyed working at Upton and embracing the advantages of modern digital dentistry.

In 2022 she completed her certificate in Dental Implantology, enhancing her surgical skills and options available to offer our patients. She also volunteers with the charity Dentaid, offering dental care to vulnerable people in mobile clinica across the south.

In her spare time Victoria enjoys running, cycling and being out on the water. More recently she has taken up golf and is budding baker!

Ovidiu Bajescu Concita

Dr Ovi Bajescu-Conita qualified as a dentist in Romania in 2001 and has been practising dentistry since then. He has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and smile improvement, focusing on careful planning and attention to detail to help patients achieve natural, confident results.

He holds a postgraduate certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) and is a certified Clear Aligner provider, offering modern orthodontic options alongside restorative and cosmetic treatments.

Known for his calm and approachable manner, Dr Ovi Bajescu-Conita aims to put patients at ease and build long‑term relationships based on trust. He is committed to providing dentistry that balances function, aesthetics, and each patient’s individual needs.

Dr. Jason Wong

Dentist

Jason graduated from Queen Mary, University of London, in 2010. Having been born and raised in Poole, he is pleased to be serving the local community. He pursued further postgraduate training through the Royal College of Surgeons in London and worked within the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit at Poole Hospital.

He has a special interest in dental implants and oral surgery and has developed experience in these areas over the course of his career.

In 2026, he completed a Master's degree in Advanced Dental Implantology through the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology. Jason has a strong interest in teaching and mentorship and served as an NHS Educational Supervisor for nine years, supporting newly qualified dentists at the start of their careers.

Jason joined the team at Upton Dental and provides dental implant and oral surgery treatment.

Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, hiking and exploring the world with his wife. He also enjoys rock climbing, skiing and snowboarding.

Dawn Star

Hygienist

Dawn began her career in dentistry as a dental nurse, where she later went on to qualify as a dental hygienist from The Eastman Dental Hospital London in 2006. She is originally from and based in Dorset.

Dawn has a gentle and thorough approach to treatment and takes special interest in gum health. Dawn will work with you to prevent as well as treat dental disease.

Aimee Tostevin

Hygienist

Aimee graduated from Portsmouth University in 2012 with a combined honours degree in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy, and was awarded the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy prize for Student of the year. She is an attentive and enthusiastic hygienist and keen to implement modern approaches to periodontal maintenance and disease management. In 2021 Aimee was shortlisted for the Private Dentistry Best Hygienist award.

In her spare time she enjoys baking, reading, and travelling with her partner Matt.

Fiona Scott

Dental therapist

Fi has worked within local practices for almost 30 years.

She is continuously updating her knowledge and skills to ensure you are provided with the most current treatment and advice. During your visits she will devise bespoke treatment and homecare regimes working with your individual needs to ensure you achieve the best possible oral health, which can also improve your general health too!

Fi uses a combination of conventional treatments and the amazing Airflow technology to provide the most comfortable experience possible. She also loves to add that extra sparkle to your smile by providing whitening too should you wish.

In her spare time Fi can be found down the beach or in the woods with her family and 2 dogs.

Josey Lovell

Dental therapist

Josey qualified with BSc Hons in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Portsmouth in 2019. After university she completed an extra Vocational Training year as a Dental Therapist in the NHS Special Care Dental Services based in Havant.

Josey is enthusiastic and enjoys providing all aspects of hygiene treatment, working with anxious patients and children in a gentle and calm manner, enabling them to overcome their fears of dental treatment.

In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include baking, crafts and outdoor activities which include kayaking and skiing.

Shelley Bedward

Dental Nurse

Shelley started working at Upton Dental Practice in 2012 as a decontamination assistant before training to be a dental nurse. Shelley works closely with Victoria, assisting in placing implants and bone grafts, which she has a passion for. Shelley also has years of experience in general dentistry, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. In her spare time, Shelley enjoys travelling with her husband and two daughters; she also enjoys long walks with her cockapoo Penny.

Paula Howett

Practice Manager

Paula has 25 years experience in dentistry, she started her career as a dental receptionist, and worked her way up to be a practice manager. She has worked in both NHS and Private dentistry. She has worked at Upton Dental & Implant Clinic since 2022. In her spare time enjoys travelling with her husband, and walks with her dog.

Claire Hall

Reception manager

I have been working as a Dental receptionist for over 10 years and joined the Upton Dental team in 2021, In my spare time I like to embrace the outdoor life enjoying , paddleboarding in the summer and walking in Wareham Forest with my family.

Marie Broomfield

Receptionist

I am married with two daughters live locally in the village. I have been working in dentistry for 30 years. I was a dental nurse for 20 years before having my children. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
